While gaming has relentlessly moved ahead in the areas of graphics, sound and even level design controls
seem to have not moved beyond the original dualshock from psone. First of all i’m a lefty and second i began
my body count in games like goldeneye, turok and the original perfect dark. When i boot up any game my first
stop is the options because not only do i NEED true southpaw not the halfway there crap found in modern games but 100% southpaw but i also use sim aiming unless
playing wii which manages to be ambidextrous out of the box.
For ps2 ,ps3 and even pc users thrustmaster has created my answer a FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE wired pad that
even gives true gun triggers to playstation gamers.
http://www.amazon.com/Dual-Trigger-Rumble-Force-Playstation-2/dp/B000WR81G6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1233010707&sr=1-1
I have my left/right sticks swapped and the d-pad is
my face buttons while the face buttons are my d-pad.
I even put both r1/l1 on the gun triggers which i call r4/l4.
Someone said why can’t i learn to use default and i
said,”i’m just not wired that way” besides you pay$60+
for a game and can’t even play how YOU want to
inexcusable. I even had my 360 pads rewired to play
as i need them to.
